In 1973 well known local builders Graeme Toohey and The Late Henry Perram formed a business partnership that would become the foundations for their 30 years of success in the building industry, and the birth of the business you see today.

Under Graeme & Henry's leadership Perram & Toohey Pty Ltd was formed in 1978. In the years to follow their name became synonymous with the building industry in Singleton, and their reputation second to none. Big boots to fill when 30 years later, retirement was looming.

Enter young but enthusiastic P&T tradesmen Shane Proctor who had served his apprenticeship under Henry and Graham, and Craig Knox who had joined the P&T team a few years earlier. Local lads eager to begin their own success story. The wheels were set in motion.

In 2002 Craig and Shane formed their own company choosing to carry on under the same trusted banner. Perram & Toohey Builders Pty Ltd was formed and the baton was handed over on 28th June 2003.

Now, almost 20 years later Perram & Toohey Builders Pty Ltd is still thriving and those not quite so young but still eager and enthusiastic lads have forged their own reputation for quality workmanship and reliability in Singleton and across the Hunter Valley.

Almost 50 years and still going strong... not a bad start!
